A Rocha Treasurer – Godfrey Harris

Godfrey is the a Rocha SA Treasurer.

He lives in Howick, KZN and works as a church administrator week mornings. He officially retired to Howick in 2009.  Prior to 2009 Godfrey worked in the Financial Services Industry for almost 40 years with FNB.  He worked in Howick in the 1980`s as the accountant of FNB and in the 1990`s as the Branch Manager.

He is married to Cheryl and they both grew up in the small Transkei village of Butterworth. They have three children, two sons both married and living in the UK .  Their daughter also lives in the UK.

Godfrey and Cheryl enjoy nature and in particular caravanning, tenting and travelling when possible. Godfrey is also a keen participant in off-road trail walks / races.

They love all aspects of nature from the mountains to the sea and game reserves and count it a privilege to serve on the A Rocha board and help preserve our creation in this small way.
